This is true comfort food! My mother-in-law told me about this almost 20 years ago and I haven't made pot roast any other way since then. We love it.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

A classic way to prepare an old-fashioned pot roast with all the fixings. The roast becomes tender while simmering among beef bouillon, onion soup mix, and cola. If you don't want to use diet cola, regular cola or a can of broth will work well. The carrots and potatoes soak up all the yummy flavor of the gravy. A comforting slow cooker meal on a cold day.
