I know there are different versions of this out there, but this is my version n' my families favorite :)

Ingredients For porcupine meatballs
-
2 1/2 lb80% lean beef hamburger
-
1/2 cuncooked instant white rice
-
1/4 - 1/2 cfinely diced onions
-
1/4 - 1/2 cfinely diced bell pepper
-
1egg
-
1/8 citalian bread crumbs
-
2- 15oz cantomato sauce
-
1/2 cketchup
-
dashsalt (to taste)
-
dashonion powder
How To Make porcupine meatballs
-
1mix everything together except tomato sauce, ketchup, n'onion powder
-
2form med. size balls (12 -14)

3mix tomato sauce, ketchup, n' onion powder together
-
4pour half of sauce in a 9x13 pan

5place your meatballs in pan

6pour rest of sauce over meatballs
-
7lightly sprinkle onion powder over the top
-
8cover, n' bake @ 350 for appx. 1 hour
