Got this from a Pie Iron cook book For those of you that do not know what a pie iron is. It is used for camping. I will try to post a pick later.

Ingredients For pie iron chili pie on toast.

    pie iron
  • 2 slice
    bread,your choice
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1 can
    chili,drained of excess of juices.

How To Make pie iron chili pie on toast.

    Spray the insides of the pie iron with cooking spray. Spread butter on 2 out sides of bread. place butter side down in pie iron.Place 1-2 spoons of chili on bread.Place unbuttered slice of bread on chili. Close pie iron. Cook in coals 5 min each side

    remove pie iron from coals. Open pie iron carefully serve with fork,It can get a little messey.
