Ingredients For picadillo

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    green bell pepper
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 1 Tbsp
    green olives
  • small can
    roasted pimentos
  • salt /pepper
  • few sprig
    cilantro (chopped)
  • few sprig
    parsley(chopped)
  • pinch
    cumin
  • half c
    chopped tomatoes
  • splash
    red wine

How To Make picadillo

  • 1
    saute, onions, green bell peppers in olive oil about 5 mins, add diced garlic cloves
  • 2
    next add the ground beef and brown, mixing all together add, the 2 bay leaves, olives, cumin, chopped tomatoes, chopped roasted pimentos, chopped cilantro,culantro & parsley...add a splash of wine (preferably a red).....salt to taste....
