Ingredients For picadillo

1 lbground beef
-
1/2green pepper, diced

1 mdonion, diced

4 clovegarlic, mined; or to taste

2 Tbspcumin
-
2 Tbspgreen olives
-
2 Tbspgarlic powder
-
2 Tbsptomato paste
-
2 mdpotatoes, diced
-
1/2 cwhite cooking wine

1bay leaf
-
2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

salt and pepper taste

water to cover
How To Make picadillo
-
1cook peppers in olive oil for 2 min then add the onions and garlic and cook for 2-3 min.

2add ground beef and add garlic powder and and cumin, salt and pepper and olives and brown the meat

3once browned add the tomato paste, white wine, potatoes and water to cover then bring to a boil; then bring to a simmer and partially cover; cook for 30 min or until potatoes are soft and water is gone

4serve with white rice (optional)
