Ingredients For pepper steak

1 lbbeef round steak, about 1/2" thick

2-4 Tbspcoconut oil, bacon drippings, lard or tallow

2 mdyellow onion, sliced

2 mdgreen pepper, sliced

1/4- 1/2 cwater
-
1/2 tspgarlic salt
-
freshly ground black pepper

8 lgcarrots, shredded
How To Make pepper steak

1Cut steak into 1/4" - 1/2" slices.

2Wash and prepare vegetables.

3Add oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat.

4Brown the meat and onions in hot oil until the onions turn slightly translucent.

5Stir in the green peppers, water and garlic salt. Cook another 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Season with black pepper and serve on a bed of shredded carrots.
