There's nothing more satisfying than the taste of freshly barbequed beef on a grill. Here's a recipe for those days when you cannot use your outdoor grill. Its easy! I've made this many times! This recipe was posted on the Internet by a cook named Annieamie. The photo is my own.

Ingredients For oven-smoked steak

  • 2 lg
    pieces boneless sirloin roast
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    liquid smoke flavoring

How To Make oven-smoked steak

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

    Add all of the dry spices together in a bowl and mix.
  • 3
    Sprinkle the entire roast with the dry seasonings, rubbing them well into the meat.

    Place the beef into a baking pan.
  • 5
    Sprinkle the liquid smoke over the meat.

    Cover the pan completely with foil and place in oven for 60 minutes.

    Remove foil and bake for 15 to 30 minutes, (depending on how rare you prefer your beef) and allow the top to brown.

    Remove beef from oven, cover and let the beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

    Slice against the grain and serve.
