Ingredients For oven baked beef bourguignonne

2 lbbeef chuck, boneless, cut into 1 inch cubes

1/4 cflour
-
1-1/3 ccarrot, sliced

1 can(14-1/2 ounces) whole peeled tomatoes, undrained and chopped

1bay leaf

1envelope beefy onion or onion soup mix
-
1/2 cred wine
-
1 csliced mushrooms
-
1 pkg(8 ounces) noodles, cooked
How To Make oven baked beef bourguignonne

1In a 2 quart casserole, toss beef with flour, then bake uncovered 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Add carrots, tomatoes and bay leaf, then beefy onion soup mix blended with wine.

2Bake covered 1-1/2 hours or until beef is tender. Add mushrooms and bake covered 10 minutes more. Remove bay leaf.

3Serve over cooked noodles.
