Ingredients For open face hamburger with wine sauce

1or 2carrots diced

1 mdonion chopped

2 clovegarlic, minced

2 ozground beef

3 Tbspparsley, chopped

3-4 Tbspbutter

7 ozdry red wine

5 ozbeef stock or bouillion

2 Tbspcanned tomato paste

1-2 Tbspcornstarch

44 oz ground round beef patties

4 1/8slices french bread, sauteed in butter til browned
How To Make open face hamburger with wine sauce

1saute first 5 ingredients in butter over low heat for 10 mins. Add wine, stock and tomato paste. Simmer for 10 mins. Dissolve cornstarch in2 tblsp water and add to above mixture to thicken. Place cooked beef patties on top of sauteed french bread slices and top with sauce.
