One of the many ways I like to do chili. Always a family favorite in my house. Plus to if I realy plan ahead I makeit in my crock pot.

Ingredients For nothing easier then chili con carne

2 Tbspvegetable oil

2 mdonions, chopped

1 mdgreen bell pepper, chopped

2cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 lblean ground beef

1 canwhole peeled tomatoes in tomato sauce cut up

1 canred kidney beans, drained
-
1 canbeef broth
-
2 Tbspchili powder
-
2 tsporegano, dried
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspground cumin
-
1/2 tspred pepper, crushed
-
1 cantomatoe paste
-
6 crice, cooked and hot
-
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1 csour cream
How To Make nothing easier then chili con carne

1Heat the oil in a 6 qt. saucepot over medium-high heat.Add in the onions, green peppers & garlic. Cook & stir for about 5 minsor until veggies are tender. Add in the meat cook & stir 5 mins longer.

2Add in the tomatoes with the liquid,the beans tomatoe paste & seasonings.Bring to a boil.Reduce the heat to low. Simmer kind of covered for about 1 hour or until the chili has thickened. Stirring occasionally.

3Serve hot over the rice. Top with the cheese & sour cream.
