Ingredients For my favorite taco burgers

1 1/2 lbground beef

1 pkgtaco seasoning 1.25 oz pkg.

3 Tbspheinz chili sauce (or ketchup)

1 cmonterrey jack cheese, shredded
-
3 Tbspchopped green chiles
-
6 slicepepper jack cheese
-
6 slicetomato (optional)
-
chopped lettuce (optional)
-
packaged guacamole (optional)
-
6toasted buns
How To Make my favorite taco burgers

1In a medium bowl or food processor, mix together ground beef, taco seasoning, and chili sauce. Form into 12 patties.

2Sprinkle 6 of the patties with shredded cheese and green chilies. Top these 6 patties with the remaining 6 patties. Seal well around the edges so cheese won't leak out.

3Grill burgers for 5-7 minutes on each side. Just before the meat is finished, add a slice of pepper jack cheese to the top and allow the cheese to melt slightly.

4Place patties on toasted buns, add tomato slices, lettuce and guacamole - then top with remaining buns.
