We often have this after church. It's really easy yet feels like a Sunday meal. I serve it with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Ingredients For mushroom burgers with gravy

  • 1 1/2 lb
    hamburger, made into patties
  • 1
    cream of mushroom soup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • rice or mashed potatoes

How To Make mushroom burgers with gravy

    Make hamburger into desired amount of patties. Season to taste. I lightly salt, pepper and sometimes use garlic powder Cook in medium pan.

    When patties are done, remove and keep warm. Drain fat but keep bits in bottom of pan. Add about 1/4 cup of water and scrap bits off bottom of pan. Add cream of mushroom soup and stir until blended.

    I serve patties with mashed potatoes, the mushroom gravy and green beans. Sometimes my husband would rather have rice rather than potatoes, that is just as yummy.
