mother's meatloaf

My dad got this recipe from a matchbook cover when they brought me home from the hospital. Mom was too exhausted to cook (what with a newborn and a 16 month old as well!) so dad made this and it has been a family favorite ever since!(some 40+ yrs...lol)

Ingredients For mother's meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs, dry
  • 1/4 c
    onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/3 c
    milk

How To Make mother's meatloaf

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2
    Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl, form into a loaf.

    Bake on a jelly roll pan or in a 9X13" cake pan for approximately 45 minutes
