Ingredients For mongolian beef

  • 2 lb
    beef, sliced thin
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    cornstarch
  • 2 stalk
    green onions, chopped

How To Make mongolian beef

    In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, oil, water, garlic & scallions. set aside
  • 2
    in another bowl combine the beef with corn starch, let sit a few mins.

    In a skillet, add a little bit of oil and brown the beef each side, add in sauce mixture let come to a boil, then reduce to low, cover and simmer 15 mins.. serve over rice.
