Ingredients For mom's taco casserole

1 lbground beef

1 pkgtaco seasoning

1 cantomato sauce

1 1/2 cwater
-
1 ccheese, grated

12 oztortilla chips, baked

1 Tbspgarlic salt

1 tspblack pepper
How To Make mom's taco casserole

1Saute meat in skillet.

2Add taco seasoning mix, spices, tomato sauce and water.

3Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 15 minutes.

4Add tortilla chips, mix, being careful not to break chips.

5Pour into a 2 inch deep by 8-inch round or square baking disk.

6Bake in 400 oven for 10-15 minutes.

7Top with cheese, bake a little longer if desired.
