Ingredients For mom's pepper steak

  • 2 lb
    beef round steak strips
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1 lg
    can tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • sm
    sprinkle of galic
  • 2-3
    green peppers cut in strips
  • 2
    beef bouillon
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 tsp
    sugar

How To Make mom's pepper steak

  • 1
    Saute beef in butter with garlic for 2 minutes. Remove meat and add onion, pepper; saute about 2 minutes. Return meat to skillet along with tomatoes and bouillon; simmer 5 minutes. Blend together cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, salt and water. Stir into meat mixture until thickened.
