Ingredients For mom's meat loaf

2/3 cdry bread crumbs (1 slice bread toasted)

1 cmilk

1 1/2 lbground beef

2eggs, beaten

1onion, chopped

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspsage

pepper to taste
- MOM'S SUPER SAUCE
-
1/4 ccatsup
-
3 Tbspbrown sugar
-
1/4 tspnutmeg
-
1 + tspdry mustard
How To Make mom's meat loaf

1Chop onions, make breadcrumbs, beat eggs. Soak breadcrumbs in milk. Add meat, eggs, onion and seasonings. Mix well. Place in loaf pan.

2For Super Sauce: Mix together catsup, brown sugar, nutmeg and dry mustard. Spread over meat in pan. **NOTE** i like to shape the tops and sides of the loaf with a fork; the ridges help the sauce to drip down the sides, so the sides look as yummy as the top.

3Bake one hour at 350.
