4 Tbspall purpose flour

1 1/2 lbbeef stew meat or cubed chuck roast

2 Tbspvegetable oil

1 mdchopped onion

1 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 tspthyme, dried

2 can12 oz. cans v-8 juice

1 tspbeef base paste
-
3 dashtobasco sauce
-
3 lgpotatoes, scrubbed and cut into chunks

1 1/2 cchopped celery
-
1 1/2 cpeeled and sliced carrots

1/2 cfrozen peas
How To Make mom's baked beef stew

1Combine flour and salt in a plastic zip lock bag. Add meat to bag and shake to coat. Brown in skillet with vegetable oil.

2Add all other ingredients together in a large baking dish. Add meat when browned. Stir well, cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2-2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender and broth is thick.
