Ingredients For miner's steak

1 1/2 lbround steak, cut into strips

1/4 cflour

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1 Tbspmolasses or brown sugar

3 Tbspsoy sauce

1 cbeef broth
-
16 ozcan stewed tomatoes

1large onion, sliced

1green pepper, sliced
-
1/4 lbfresh mushrooms, slices (optional)
How To Make miner's steak

1Dredge steak in mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Put into large casserole dish with lid and sprinkle any remaining flour over the meat. Add all the remaining ingredients.

2Bake covered at 325° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.

3NOTE: I usually serve this with noodles and add the cooked noodles to the meat mixture to soak up all the juices.
