Ingredients For mexican tortilla skillet

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 16 oz
    shredded mexican cheese
  • 1 sm
    green bell pepper-chopped
  • 1 sm
    red bell pepper-choped
  • 1 sm
    yellow onion
  • 2 clove
    garlic-minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili power
  • 1 oz
    16 tortilla chips-coarsely crushed
  • 1
    taco seasoning mix pkt,
  • 1-15 oz
    black olives- sliced
  • 1-4 oz
    mild green chiles

How To Make mexican tortilla skillet

    In a nonstick skillet, add 3 T canola oil or any other cooking oil. Sauté' veggies on med/high heat. Add onto a platter, and set aside.

    Brown up ground beef until no longer pink. Drain grease. Add Taco Pkt, using pkt directions.

    Add back in veggies. Stir to incorporate. Meanwhile, sprinkle in crushed chips. Stir to coated with meat and veggie mixture. Slice Black olives.

    Sprinkle over cheese. Top with secure lid for 7 min. or until cheese is totally melted.

    Serve and enjoy. You may add a dollop of sour cream/ and or olives if you wish. I only used olives
