I have had this recipe for at least 50 years. Good friends of ours would have us over for dinner. This was so cheap to fix because at that time we could buy hamburger 3#'s for $1.00...oh, how times have changed.

Ingredients For mexican casserole

1 lbground beef
-
1 mdonion-chopped
-
salt, pepper, garlic powder (i use fresh garlic)

2 smcans of kidney beans-drained

1 canenchilada sauce

1 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1 Tbspchili powder
-
1/2 ccorn chips--fritos
How To Make mexican casserole

1Cook ground beef and onion until done. Drain. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder.

2Add kidney beans, enchilada sauce, cheese, chili powder, and corn chips. Stir to combine.

3Put in a casserole and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

4Serve with a salad dressed with a nice Mexican type dressing.
