A simple slow cooker meal the whole family will love. The pieces of beef in this Crock Pot beef stroganoff is tender and melts in your mouth. The creamy sauce is full of flavor and perfect over egg noodles. A comforting meal to add to your dinner rotation.

Ingredients For meg's homemade crock pot beef stroganoff

  • 2 lb
    beef stew meat
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz each)
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    beef broth
  • 1 c
    fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 lg
    onion, diced
  • 4 Tbsp
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1 tsp
    Gravy Master
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 16 oz
    wide egg noodles

How To Make meg's homemade crock pot beef stroganoff

  • Browning beef in a skillet.

    Heat 3 Tbsp olive oil in a skillet. Brown beef in skillet until only the outsides are browned.
  • Soup, water, broth, veggies, and Worchestershire sauce in a Crock Pot.

    While meat is browning, combine soup, water, broth, veggies, and Worchestershire sauce in Crock Pot and stir well.
  • Onions and mushrooms added to Crock Pot.

    Stir in the onions and mushrooms.
  • Beef, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and Gravy Master added to Crock Pot.

    Add well-drained beef, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and Gravy Master; stir again. Set Crock Pot to low setting. Cook on low 6-8 hours.
  • Chunks of cream cheese added to the Crock Pot.

    Just before serving, prepare your noodles as directed on the package. Turn Crock Pot to high and add cubed cream cheese to the sauce. Stir until melted and combined. Turn heat off and let sit 10 minutes.
