Hot and spicy,good for a sandwich on a bulky roll or subroll, served warm. Can be cut into bite-sized pieces for party platter sliders!

Ingredients For meatloaf sandwich

  • 2 1/2 lb
    ground beef, 85% lean
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • SAUTE IN OLIVE OIL:
  • 1 md
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
    minced garlic
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    banana peppers chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    sweet and sour sauce/or chili sauce

How To Make meatloaf sandwich

    Saute onion and garlic on low about five minutes.

    Mix meat,eggs,salt, oregano,sour cream and bread crumbs,add sauce and stir in well, shape into loaf in baking dish and place in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

    Spread pepper,sugar and vinegar mixture over meatloaf before baking.

    Remove from oven and let rest 1/2 hour covered.
