Ingredients For meatballs (polpetta)

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 t. oregano
  • 2 drops garlic oil
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • 2 t. salt

How To Make meatballs (polpetta)

  • 1
    Mix ingredient together and form into balls. Brown in hot oil. Serves 6
  • 2
    Note: This is such an old recipe, I'm not even sure they make garlic oil anymore. I think I'd substitute a small clove of garlic, minced.
