I was a young single mother, broke with just some soup in my pantry and a package of meatballs in the freezer. I thought what the heck and I just dumped it all in the crockpot hopefull for the best. This turned out to be a lifelong (almost 40 yreas now) faverite dish that my family and friends often request. I hope everyone enjoys it. Please do let me know.

Ingredients For meatball surprise

  • 1 can
    campbells golden cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    campbells french onion soup
  • 1 can
    campbells cream of asparagus soup
  • 3 can
    water
  • 1
    large bag frozen meatballs (more for larger group)

How To Make meatball surprise

    Add all ingredients to crock pot. Stir soup and water together to blend before adding meat.

    Cook on high until very hot, then turn down to simmer. Will make its own gravy as it cooks. NO extra spices are needed! I promise! I usually cook for 8 hours.

    Serve over noodles, rice, or my favorate mashed potatoes. Or for something extra just serve in a hoggie roll.

    The amount of meatballs and soup are easy to adjust for large groups, adding one of each for every four persons. Try and get the meatballs that have the 100 count in them.
