Ingredients For meatball stew

1 lblean ground beef

2 Tbspcornstarch

1 mdonion, sliced

3 lgpotatoes, peeled and diced

4carrots, peeled and diced
-
2 tspitalian seasoning
-
1/2 tspseasoned salt
-
1/4 tspgarlic powder
-
2 Tbspbeef bouillon granules
-
1 cwater
-
1 canwhole tomatoes, chopped, undrained, 16 ounces

2 Tbspbutter
-
1/4 tsppepper
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 cdry bread crumbs
-
1egg
-
1 mdonion, chopped
-
1/4 ccold water
How To Make meatball stew

1Combine ground beef with chopped onion, egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.

2Shape mixture into about 24 meatballs, then brown in butter; drain well.

3Stir together tomatoes, water, beef base and seasonings.

4Place carrots, potatoes and sliced onion in bottom of crock pot; top with meatballs.

5Pour tomato mixture over all.

6Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

7Before serving, remove meatballs with a slotted spoon.

8Make a smooth paste of the cornstarch and water and stir into vegetables.

9Cover and cook on high for 10 minutes to thicken.

10Return meatballs to stew and serve.
