Ingredients For meat and potato pie

  • 1-2 lb
    ground beef or ground venison
  • 6-8
    good sz russet potatos
  • 1 1/4c
    bisquick
  • 1
    egg

How To Make meat and potato pie

  • 1
    peel and cut potatos into bite sz pieces , put in lg pot , crumble and add ground beef , w/ enough water to cover and cook til potatos are done . save liquid from cooking
  • 2
    spoon mixture into lg baking dish and add enough of the cooking water to come about 1/2 way up sides of dish , ( can add pkg of frozen veggies at this point if you like )

    in seprate bowl , mix bisquick mix w/ enough cooking water to make a med thin topping , pour over mix in baking dish , bake 350 for 20 - 30 min til topping is done .
