Ingredients For martini steak

3 Tbspgin

6pimento stuffed olives

25 ounce rib eye/sirloin steaks

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 tspdried marjoram
-
1/2 tspdried basil
-
2garlic cloves, crushed
-
1 Tbspdry vermouth
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
-
1 dashangostura bitters
How To Make martini steak

1In a shallow dish, combine all ingredients except meat and olives.

2Score steaks with shallow crisscross cuts on one side; add to marinade.

3Marinate at room temperature for two hours; turn several times.

4Remove steaks, save marinade.

5Broil or place on hot grill about three inches from heat.

6Cook four minutes per side for rare; six minutes for medium; baste meat several times with marinade.

7Garnish with olives on a toothpick.
