Ingredients For marinated london broil

  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil, divided
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced fresh sage
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig
    rosemary
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 2 lb
    flank steak
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make marinated london broil

    Mix the soy sauce, ketchup, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, sage, garlic, rosemary and paprika together. Place the steak in a zipper baggie and add the marinade. Marinade overnight or at least 8 hours. Remove the steak from the marinade and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grab a cast iron skillet and place over med high heat and let it heat up until smoking. Add remaining oil and sear the steak on both sides. Add the butter and baste the steaks on both sides for about 2 minutes.

    Place the steak into the oven and let roast for about 5 to 7 minutes for medium rare. Remove to cutting board and let rest for 15 minutes. Slice against the grain and enjoy.
