My BFFs Mom made this first time 40+ years ago -- I have been in love with it ever since! Made it many times and everyone likes it. May be cooked in broiler or on the grill.

Ingredients For marinated flank steak

1 1/2 lbflank steak

1/4 csoy sauce

3 Tbsphoney
-
2 Tbspvinegar (i use red wine vinegar)

1/2 tsppowdered garlic

1/2 tspginger powder

1/2 csalad oil

1onion, chopped
How To Make marinated flank steak

1Mix marinade well. Tenderize the meat by pounding it to break down the muscle. This also makes the marinade work better.

2Marinate meat for 24 hours. DO NOT SKIMP ON MARINATING TIME! NOTE: A gallon ZipLock bag is great for marinating the meat - just put in an 8X12 pan in the fridge.

3Broil 10 minutes on each side. May be cooked in broiler or on the grill. Thinly slice on diagonal. May be successfully doubled -- 1 1/2 the recipe for two flank steaks.
