This easy recipe has been one of my family's favorites for over 25 years. It is often requested as one of those "celebration" meals.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Flank steaks are a fairly inexpensive cut of meat which is great for the wallet, but they tend to be a little tough if not prepared properly. This marinade is fantastic and really breaks down the meat. This is a very simple marinade that's slightly sweet and savory with a slight Asian flair. Fresh ginger and green onions add a ton of fresh flavor. We chose to marinate the meat overnight and grilled the steak on a hot charcoal grill for about 6 minutes on each side. The final result was a juicy, tender, and flavorful flank steak.
