My family always called this goulash even though it isn't really. This recipe is very easy, and makes even better leftovers.

Ingredients For macaroni & beef (goulash)

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    carrots, sliced
  • 1 can
    6 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 lb
    macaroni, cooked
  • 4-6 c
    water

How To Make macaroni & beef (goulash)

  • 1
    Place all ingredients except macaroni into large pot. Cook 1 hour or until carrots are done. Add macaroni. Serve.

    May also add corn, or substitute macaroni with potatoes.
