Ingredients For "lower carb" broccoli casserole

  • 1 sm
    onion diced
  • 8 oz
    chopped mushrooms of your choice
  • 1 lb
    lean hamburger meat
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 2 lb
    frozen broccoli florets
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 8 oz
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt

How To Make "lower carb" broccoli casserole

    In a large sauce pan, saute onions, garlic, mushrooms, and hamburger meat (salt lightly) for about 6 mins on medium-high heat, then drain grease.

    Next add the broccoli (Make sure it's thawed)to the pan, mix well, salt just a little more (Taste before adding) cover, and cook on medium heat for 22 mins. Add cheese and cook for an additional 3-4 mins. Enjoy
