This is a recipe from Mom's recipe box, she didn't list exact measurements for any ingredient. When she made it she used enough ingredients to cover what ever size baking dish she was using

Ingredients For lickdob

  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 lg
    onion, sliced
  • 1 can
    red kidney beans
  • 2 c
    thinly sliced potatoes
  • 2 lg
    tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 lb
    bacon, uncooked

How To Make lickdob

    Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2
    In baking dish crumble hamburger to cover bottom of dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder(optional)

    Cover hamburger with a layer of each sliced raw onion kidney beans sliced raw potatoes tomatoes (or tomato sauce) bacon

    Bake slowly until all ingredients are thoroughly cooked, approximately 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours
