This is so good. I like to double the marinade and reduce it down to make a thick sauce.

Ingredients For korean beef short ribs

  • 3-4 lg
    beef short ribs about 6 pieces
  • 1 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 lg
    pear peeled and grated
  • 12 oz
    can coke
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice vinegar
  • 2 md
    shallots minced
  • 8 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 3/4 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    roasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 4
    green onions green parts only for garnish

How To Make korean beef short ribs

  • 1
    Mix all the ingredients together except for ribs and green onions. Place the ribs in the mixture and marinate overnight.

    Place the ribs with the marinade in a large skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook about 1 hour until ribs are tender. Watch and make sure they don't cook dry adding some water if needed. Garnish with green onions
