Sometimes I get an idea and I run with it. These were a hit!! I put a big chunk of "Munester" in the middle of these burgers. Lots of good veggies in the burger ingredients. I made them big like monster burgers. The gravy over rice was so good. I will definitely make this dish again. I was so ready to try them out that I didn't get a picture of them. Next time....

Ingredients For kimi's "muenster" stuffed burgers w/gravy

  • 1 lb
    hamburger (i used 85/15 for more flavor)
  • 1 lg
    pkg of fresh spinach (steamed and squeeze out juices)
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese, fresh, grated
  • 1
    egg
  • 1
    green onion, sliced
  • 1/4 c
    bread crumbs (more if needed)
  • 2 clove
    fresh garlic, minced
  • salt & pepper
  • 3
    chunks of munster cheese
  • GRAVY
  • 1 can
    condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 can
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • salt & pepper

How To Make kimi's "muenster" stuffed burgers w/gravy

    Together in a bowl, combine all hamburger ingredient except munster cheese. Form patties into 2 pieces, placing the chunk of cheese and securing well. Pan sear them till brown. Place in a deep 8x8 casserole pan. Combine gravy ingredients together and pour over. Place in a 375F oven for 45 minutes. Serve over cooked rice. (we had fresh green beans w/ham chunks for flavor)
