My dad says this is the only thing I can cook that is good, lol but he has NO TROUBLE eating anything I take to him lol

Ingredients For kat's meatloaf

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2
    sleeve saltine crackers, crushed
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili sauce
  • GLAZE FOR TOP
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    dill pickle juice
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make kat's meatloaf

    Preheat oven to 350. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.

    In a large bowl combine all ingredients for the meat loaf, mix until combined. Do not over mix. Pour into baking dish, form into loaf, however thick you want it ( if you make it more thin you may want to decrease cooking time about 15-20 minutes)Cover with foil and bake 40-50 minutes.

    When meatloaf has been in oven for 35 minutes use a measuring cup to mix glaze up, microwave for 1 1/2 -2 minutes so sugar will dissolve. Take meatloaf out after 40 minutes, remove foil, add glaze to top, leave uncovered and cook another 10-15 minutes
