karen's shepherd's pie
(2 ratings)
Ths is always a good meal to make in the Fall.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Karen's twist on a traditional shepherd's pie is yummy. The southern style gravy adds extra sausage flavor to the ground beef. Cayenne pepper does give this dish a nice kick of spice. But, the sweet onion and corn add a pop of sweet flavor. Adding cheese to the mashed potatoes is divine. The final layer with the crunchy, buttery Panko is the perfect topping for this hearty dinner.
