Ingredients For karen's mustard brisket

  • 2 1/2 LBS
    beef brisket
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/3 can
    olive oil
  • 2 c
    sliced onions
  • 2 c
    chicken broth

How To Make karen's mustard brisket

    Sift: Flour, Mustard, Salt, Pepper together. Brown:cover meat with flour cook in olive oil in dutch oven tell browned on all sides remove meat and add onions cook tell soft. in dutch oven add 3/4 cup flour, cook tell brown add chicken broth bring to boil.

    add meat back in with chiken broth, make sure that it covers the meat if not add more chicken broth. Bake: at 350 you well know when done when meat pull's apart . about 1 1/2 - 2 hours
