This recipe was given to me many years ago by a very special friend. It has been a favorite of mine and so very easy to put together. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Ingredients For joyce's hamburger casserole

1 lbhamburger

1/2 cdiced onion

1/2 cdiced celery

1/4 cdiced green pepper

1 cancream of mushroom soup

1 cminute rice
-
1 cshredded chedder cheese or more it you want.
How To Make joyce's hamburger casserole

1Brown hamburger, drain. Add onions, celery and green peppers and cook until transparent

2Mix mushroom soup with 1 can water, add it and the 1 cup of rice to hamburger mixture. Put into a greased casserole dish, put a lid on top and bake 45 min on 350*.

3On last 5 minutes of baking stir, put cheese on top and cover again. Turn oven on low. As long as you leave the lid on it will stay nice and moist Serve with tossed salad and bread. I like to add a little cheese on top of casserole just before you serve it.
