This has been passed down through several generations and is one of our family's favorites. It makes the best sandwiches too.

Ingredients For josephine's meat loaf
- MEAT LOAF

1 1/2 lbground beef

1 cdry bread crumbs
-
1/2 can8-oz tomato sauce (the other half will be used in the sauce)

1/2 conion, chopped

1 lgegg, slightly beaten
- SAUCE

1 1/2 tspeach, salt and pepper

1/2 can8-oz tomato sauce
-
3/4 cwater
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 Tbspprepared mustard

2 Tbspvinegar
How To Make josephine's meat loaf

1For loaf, mix all ingredients well and form into a loaf. Place in greased loaf pan or 9x13 pan.

2For sauce, mix all ingredients and pour over loaf.

3Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
