PIZZA NIGHT!!! And is this one AWESOME! Super FAST and EASY if you use a pre-made crust!!! LOL sorta' looks like a Hot Mess BUT that is just fine and dandy :) Italian Cheese Steak Sammy on a pizza crust....You can't go wrong!! Add the Hand Tossed Homemade Crust and KAaaaa BOOMmmmmm it is a hearty and so over the top flavorful meal! Can you tell we love this pizza much?? Looks like a lot of work but really it is not that hard just make sure you have the time for the dough to rise if you use a fresh made dough :) (Dough recipe is posted)

Ingredients For italian cheese steak pizza

  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lb
    chuck steak, lean (or what beef you like)
  • 1/2
    onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2
    green pepper thinly sliced (use any pepper you like)
  • 1 jar
    ragu meat creations sauce (this sauce i do recomend for this it packs so much flavor!!) but again use what you like
  • 1 lg
    hand tossed pizza crust (recipe posted) (use fresh, package, pre-made, any that you like)
  • 1 tsp
    garlic (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp
    basi
  • 1 tsp
    oregano
  • 2 c
    mozzarella cheese (or more use what you like and amount you like)

How To Make italian cheese steak pizza

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees

    Cut meat into thin strips
  • 3
    Heat Olive Oil in skillet until hot
  • 4
    Add the steak, sliced green peppers and onion
  • 5
    Stir often when steak is done add 1 to 1 1/2 cup Ragu Meat Creations (I use beefy mushroom) and spices (optional)

    Salt and Pepper to taste

    Turn of heat and remove from stove eye to cool slightly
  • 8
    Spread steak and sauce over pizza crust, top with cheese
  • 9
    Bake at 425 degree for 12 - 14 minutes until top is browning slightly. My hubby loves his pizza with a burnt edge, so brown it as much as you like :)
