Just a little twist on the burrito. This one has a zesty Italian filling. I adapted this recipe from one found in our local paper.

Ingredients For italian beef burritos

2 lblean ground beef

2 mdonions, finely chopped

1red bell pepper, chopped

1green bell pepper, chopped

1 cankidney beans, drained

1 jar(26 to 28 ounces) ragu spaghetti sauce

1/2 tsporegano

1/4 tspdried red pepper flakes

salt and pepper to taste

10(10 inch) flour tortillas

3 cshredded mozzarella cheese

sour cream
How To Make italian beef burritos

1Brown beef in a large skillet. Stir in onions and bell pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes more until veggies are tender. Drain grease. Reserve about 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce for garnish. Stir in kidney beans, remaining spaghetti sauce, oregano, pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste. Heat through.

2To serve: Warm tortillas. In center of each tortilla place 1/3 cup cheese and 1 cup of meat filling. Roll up and place on plate seam side down. If desired garnish with a tablespoon of sour cream and a little spaghetti sauce on each burrito.
