Ingredients For italian beef

4-5 lbbeef chuck roast

8 clovegarlic
-
1 Tbspdried Italian seasonings

1 tspgarlic salt
-
1 tspred pepper flakes
-
1 jarpepperoncini peppers

1 Tbspbeef base paste

2 cwater
How To Make italian beef

1Cut slits in roast.

2Insert garlic cloves into slits. Put in large roaster or baking dish.

3Mix Italian seasonings, garlic salt, red pepper flakes in a bowl. Cover roast with the seasoning.

4Add pepperoncini peppers.

5Mix beef base with water.

6Then pour over roast.

7Cover and bake in a 300 degree oven for 6-8 hours.

8Remove beef from pan and shred.

9Save broth and chill. Skim fat off of broth and reheat.

10Serve on crusty rolls with smoky provolone and mozzarella slices and warm broth for dipping.
