3 lbpot roast cut into 1 inch cubes

1 canchicken stock

8 mdcarrots, cut up

5potatoes peeled and cut up

1 smheavy cream

How To Make irish beef stew the slow cooker way

1Heat 2 tablespoons canola oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook, stirring until soft and translucent. In a bowl toss cut up beef in 1 tablespoon of flour, season with salt and pepper until beef is well coated. Add seasoned beef into a pan and sear on all sides until brown.

2Add cook onions and sear beef into slow cooker.

3Peel and cut up potatoes and carrots, place into slow cooker, along with chicken stock, beer and Worcestershire sauce. Cook in slow cooker on low for 7 to 8 hours while you are at work.

4Place heavy cream into slow cooker about an hour before serving.
