  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 lb
    chuck roast, cut into squares
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    whole grain mustard
  • 2 c
    beef broth
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • rice, for serving
  • fresh parsley, for garnish

How To Make instant pot melt in your mouth beef over rice

    Select saute on Instant pot. Add the butter and oil. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Sear the beef for about 5 minutes. Remove from pot. Add the onion, and garlic. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in the soy sauce and mustard. Add the beef back to the pot. Pour in the beef broth

    Secure the lid and pressure cook 20 minutes. quick release and remove the beef and onion with a slotted spoon. In a fat separated drain off excess fat. Place the broth back into the instant pot and select saute. Mix the water with the cornstarch and whisk into the beef stock whisking until thickened.

    Add the beef back to the pot and warm for 2 minutes. Serve over rice and garnish with parsley
