2 lbbeef cheeks

salt and pepper

2 Tbspvegetable oil

1 mdonion chopped

4 clovegarlic minced

1 cbaby bella mushroom sliced

1/4 ctomato paste
-
2 Tbspbalsamic vinegar

1 1/2 cred wine
-
1 Tbspcornstarch

2 Tbspwater
How To Make instant pot beef cheeks with red wine

1Remove any sinew from beef cheeks and season them with salt and pepper. Turn your instant pot on sear/saute. Add oil to the pot and sear the beef cheeks on all sides. Remove to a plate and set aside.

2Add to the pot the onion, garlic, and mushrooms and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the tomato paste, balsamic vinegar and red wine.

3Add the cheeks back into the pot and cook at high pressure for 50 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for 15 minutes then do quick release. Remove meat with slotted spoon to a plate. Mix the cornstarch and water together and turn the instant pot to saute and stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened. Serve the sauce over the meat.
