This tastes SOOO good. I have had this recipe for over 25 years. Mrs Goertz use to make this a lot. She had 4 boys to fill up. When I first asked for the recipe, I was surprised at the ingredients.

Ingredients For hot mexican salad

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 can
    tomato sauce (small)
  • 2 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 can
    cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning
  • corn chips
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • sour cream
  • black olives

How To Make hot mexican salad

  • 1
    Brown ground beef and pour off grease. Add tomato sauce, soups, and taco seasoning. Heat until warm.

    In individual bowls, make a bed of corn chips and lettuce. Pour some hot mixture over the top.

    Garnish with tomato, sour cream, olives, what ever Mexican style toppings you like.
