    onion soup mix
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3 lb
    beef brisket

How To Make homestyle beef brisket

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

    In 13x9 inch baking or roasting pan, add onion soup mix blended with water, ketchup, garlic powder and pepper.

    Add brisket, turning to coat with soup mixture.

    Loosely cover with aluminum foil and roast for 3 hours or until brisket is tender.

    Thicken gravy if desired.
