This is the best recipe we use for roast beef. It has a savory crust of herbs, is juicy and mouthwatering, and the aroma will attract all the neighbors!

Ingredients For holiday roast beef

  • 3 lb
    beef top sirloin roast
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp
    sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    sweet hungarian paprika
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    red chili pepper flakes
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, light

How To Make holiday roast beef

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix spices in small bowl and add olive oil. Let sit for 15 minutes. Rub outside of roast well with spice mixture and place on baking rack in roasting pan. Do not cover.

    Bake at 350 Degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Turn oven off, remove roast, and let rest for 20 minutes. Carve in thin slices and serve with au jus and prepared horseradish mixed with sour cream. Delicious !
